I began learning JavaScript with this Udemy course a few days ago and today I wondered how many lines of code I'd typed in so far.

So here's a quick tip if you're wondering how to count the lines of code in your Visual Studio Code Project. There's a free extension called VSCode Counter in the Visual Studio Marketplace that's super easy to install, and it produces stats like this.

Learning JavaScript

Since the beginning of my learning JavaScript adventure I've typed 593 lines of code into 13 files with 53 comments.  My curiosity is now satisfied and I can continue with the course.

Here's another shot of how the VS Code Counter looks.
